Grafton Ponds Outdoor Center Cuts Prices
From our friends at Grafton Ponds Outdoor Center:
Grafton Ponds Outdoor Center, a four season recreation center known best for its Nordic skiing and mountain bike trails, has reworked its season pass pricing to be incredibly attractive for both individuals and families. Pricing is nearly 40% off last year’s rates if purchased by Thanksgiving.
The early season pass pricing includes $99 for adults, $79 for students and seniors, $59 for youth and a reintroduction of its family pass for just $299. Enhancements to the pass this year include a modified “youth” segment, which now encompasses age six through high school (instead of 6-12 years). Passes also include snowshoe trail access and snow tubing; season pass holders will only need to pay the $3 rental for a tube.
Winter and Summer ski and bike passes for individuals and families are also available.
“With the current state of the economy, we know it wil be tougher for people to ski this winter,” said Bill Salmon, Grafton Ponds Director. “It’s important to keep active and healthy in the winter, so we’re assisting by significantly reducing our rates for everyone. Our snowmaking also helps to guarantee snow for Nordic skiers.”
Located in Grafton, Vermont, Grafton Ponds winter offerings include 15 kilometers of cross-country skiing — 5 k with snowmaking, 10 k of snowshoeing trails, a 600-foot tubing run, ice skating and a full-service base lodge. This season’s event schedule is packed with a variety of activities for all ages, including the popular wine and cheese snowshoe tours. Grafton Ponds is a property of the historic Grafton Inn also located in Grafton.
Grafton Ponds is scheduled to open for the winter season in early December.
