Stopped in Power Play Sports in Mo-Vegas today and had a chance to check out the new splitboard setup. Caleb Magoon, the relatively new owner of Power Play, showed me what Power Play can do you for you. They’ll take your old board, and outfit it so you can skin up a mountain or hill in the backcountry and ride back down. That’s a demo setup on the left. The board to the right of it is a Powderboard, a handcrafted, maple backcountry board made right in Rupert. Nice to see the BC vibe growing in the snowboard community!
Have you tried splitboarding?
