Vermont Sports Sponsorship Policy

Vermont Sports Magazine receives dozens of requests each year for free or discounted advertising for races and events that support excellent causes. While it is extremely difficult to turn down sponsorship requests, as a business that relies almost solely on advertising to pay for printing, writers, photographers, distribution, etc., we would not be sustainable if we provided free advertising to every request we receive (as most local races are, in fact, fundraisers for a good cause). That said, if you can demonstrate a. a real benefit to Vermont Sports in trade for sponsorship in the form of reduced-price advertising, and b. that the majority of the money raised at the event goes to the cause and not to administrative costs/salaries, we would be interested in hearing a proposal.
