VTrans Awards Over $2 Million for Bike/Ped Projects

VTrans has released a list of towns in Vermont that will share $2,495,000 to pay for various sidewalks, multi-use paths, pedestrian crossing and signal improvements, bike lanes, and scoping studies.  Please see the attachment for details.  The VBPC appreciates the effort that VTrans is making to improve conditions for the bike/ped community in Vermont.  There is much work that remains to be done, but it’s exciting to see this movement in the right direction.
