Sugarbush Once Again Offers Free Season Passes to Deployed Vermont Guard Families

From Sugarbush:

Sugarbush Resort announced today that it will offer free All Mountain season passes to the spouses and children of all Vermont National Guard men and women currently deployed overseas.

Sugarbush is also offering reduced season pass and day tickets for active-duty military personnel. Active duty military not currently deployed can purchase All-Mountain Season passes at the discounted rate of $449. Spouses of non-deployed active duty military can purchase a season pass at a 50% discount off of normal rates. Reduced day tickets for active-duty military are also available for $49.

“Military families continue to make tremendous sacrifices for this country. If we can provide these families with a welcome distraction and honor their service with free and discounted skiing and riding, it is the very least we can do,” said Sugarbush president Win Smith.
In 2005 Sugarbush was awarded the Patriot Award by the United States National Guard for the Resort’s support of its employees serving overseas. The honor is bestowed upon businesses that go above and beyond what is required by law to not only accommodate employees returning from overseas, but also offering assistance to their families while they are abroad.
