This Thursday, the Catamount Trail Organization, RASTA and the Vermont Backcountry Alliance will host a potluck dinner with raffles, music, dancing, multimedia presentations and discussions about happenings in the world of backcountry skiing and riding. Mountain Bike Vermont presents a bike culture variety show to be held at the Rusty Nail in Stowe. Watch locally produced MTB video shorts, slideshows and spoken work pieces dedicated to all facets of mountain biking. This years event features The Rider’s Choice awards, presenting prizes to based on votes for categories such as “best trail network,” “best trail builder” and “best photographer.” Doors open at 7, and the show starts at 8. mtbvt.com
