GMC Going All Renewable!

From the Green Mountain Club:

Please join us Thursday, Nov. 17 when we “flip the switch” and celebrate generating 100 percent of our headquarters’ energy needs on-site!

All Earth Renewables has finished installing our All Sun Tracker solar panels in the back meadows!

In addition, both our on-campus buildings are now being heated by high-efficiency gasification boilers using sustainably-harvested cordwood from the club’s own land.

Please join us at the Visitor Center at 11 a.m. for a few words by club executive director Will Wiquist, followed by a green tour of our campus and refreshments.
