Join us on August 18th for the inaugural running of the Woodchuck Cider Chase 5k in idyllic Middlebury, Vermont. Nestled in the cool Champlain Valley, dash from barn to farmhouse and back on Exchange Street. 5k, chip timed race starts and ends out front of the world famous Cider House. After the race, the party continues with live music, food trucks, yard games and family friendly fun for everyone.
Howard Center’s 11th Annual Zoe’s Race – August 25
Fill up your water bottles, lace up your sneakers and join the fun at this year’s 11 th
Annual Zoe’s Race. Choose between a 5K walk/run and a 10K run—both begin at
Oakledge Park and offer an out-and-back course along the picturesque Burlington
bike path. Children of all ages can share in the race day excitement by
participating in the FREE Kid’s 1K fun run (t-shirt included). Great food and music!
Fundraising for this event helps local families make their homes accessible and
supports other Howard Center programming. Come out and help Zoe’s Race

|Join us for one of our most popular races – and for good reason! The race begins and ends at Shelburne Beach, on beautiful Lake Champlain, which is a favorite spot of Shelburne residents to have picnics, BBQs, play volleyball, swim, kayak, and let the kids play tetherball or climb on the playground. Your family may enjoy spending time here while waiting for your return. Along the course, you will pass Shelburne Orchard and run along a picturesque dirt/gravel road featuring wonderful views of Ver|
|Certified 5K on the UVM women’s cross-country course. Great footing (not counting snow or ice) on cinder/paved path and grass. Some single track. No pets, headphones, strollers or bicycles allowed on the course. Walkers welcome. Walkers and slower runners please line up towards the back for safety at the crowded start.|
