|The Collaborative’s West River Trail Run is 11 miles of fun and exciting terrain from South Londonderry to Jamaica State Park following the West River. This year the run is Saturday, June 1st. It’s an amazing trail and we encourage all outdoor enthusiasts to participate individually or as a 3-man relay team. All proceeds go to The Collaborative, a nonprofit implementing healthy activities for youth in the Southern Vermont communities. To sign up go to: thecollaborative.us/
|The Catamount Ultra Marathon starts and finishes at beautiful Trapp Family Lodge outside of Stowe VT. The 25k course is primarily wide, hard-packed dirt trail. Rolling through highland pastures and hardwood forest complete with maple sugar tap lines in place and ready for the spring “run”, this course is not to be missed. Our course circumnavigates the incredibly well maintained and protected Trapp Family Lodge trail system at the foot of Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak.|
Smugglers’ Mountain Race is a weekend of stout mountain runs at their finest. These are extremely challenging sky-run style mountain races located on the rugged slopes and trails of Smugglers’ Notch Resort, in Mount Mansfield State Forest!
Both races climb to the highest point of land; Madonna Mountain, on the North side of Smugglers’ Notch via steep, unforgiving terrain. Loose rock, mud, slippery slopes and long unrelenting climbs with spectacular views should be expected.
