45th Annual Paul Mailman 10-Miler and 5K

The Paul Mailman 10 Miler is the Road Runners Club of America 2018 Vermont 10 Mile State Championship, and it is part of the CVR/ORS Race Series 2018. Both 10 Miler and 5K start and end on the Montpelier High School track. 10 miler is a flat to rolling out and back course over primarily dirt roads. Four water stations, miles accurately marked, USATF certified course. 5K is an out and back on paved roads.

Spring Into Health 5K Run @ Townshend Common

A family-friendly fund-raiser for our Patient Care Fund. All runners will be timed; however, participants are welcome to run, walk, skip, or stroll. Performance tee shirts for first 100 registrants. 8:30 am start on the Townshend Common. Free “Fun Run” for ages 6 and under. Rain or shine.

Professionally-timed. Prizes, raffles, snacks, water.
Special guest 1968 Boston Marathon Champion Amby Burfoot.
Free parking at Leland & Gray High School.

1, 2, 4, 6.2, and 13.1 mile run A competitive and recreational half marathon (with shorter options) on back roads deep in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Don’t let the name fool you. The “Dandy” is a hilly, thigh-burning challenge. Your reward: a run that takes you through farms and forests, on dirt roads through uncut green fields blanketed with millions and millions of dandelions. It’s May! It’s Time to Run! Just for the Fun of It.

Kick off summer with a run to the lake! Join us for a scenic 5K run/walk that begins on a country road, along a winding brook, and conservation trails to the lake! The race will begin and end at the Wallingford Recreational Area and Fields on Meadow Street, Wallingford Vermont.

This run/walk is designed for all levels. Whether its your first 5K or your 100th, you will be sure to love this gorgeous course!

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Wallingford Recreation Department.

NH-VT Covered Bridge Half Marathon and Relay
Choose among 4 events: Half Marathon (Individual, 2P or 4 Teams) 5K or 16.2 miles (which combined the Half and 5K courses) or 3.8 mi. Fun Walk. Loop course starts and finishes in Colebrook NH with scenic route following the Connecticut River on VT 102 South and returns to NH after crossing the Columbia Covered Bridge. Medals to all finishers. Free massages to runners. Plenty of on-site parking. Award ceremony. Live Blue Grass music. Proceeds benefit the Kiwanis Club of Colebrook

The Montcalm Mile is a one mile downhill event, ending downtown Ticonderoga, The event is run preceding a 4th of July parade. Everyone is entitled to prize money. Course records: Men 3:54.1 Women 4:39.

A 5.7 mile loop course on mostly dirt roads which climbs 450 ft in the first three miles and then gradually descends to the finish.
Paine Mountain Trail Race

Paine Mountain Trail Race

Directly east of Northfield Vermont, lies a hidden gem of rolling single track, winding forest roads, and abandoned ski slopes on the flanks of Paine Mountain. With steep climbs and descents and incredible views, this series of forested trails make for some of the best trail running in Central VT!

All races start and finish at Norwich University’s Shaw Outdoor Center, and the courses take advantage of both the Shaw Center’s extensive mountain bike network and the Northfield Town Forest.
