|The Northern Forest Canoe Trail is hosting a screening of Rapid Media’s Paddling Film Fest World Tour on Thursday, April 25th. It will be held at Outdoor Gear Exchange on Church St in Burlington (Doors at 7:15, Show at 7:30). There will be a free raffle for gear prizes. Join fellow paddling enthusiasts and greet the paddling season by enjoying inspiring stories, meeting other paddlers, and supporting a great cause!|
The C.V.C.K.S. is a weekly Canoe and Kayak race series now in it’s 29th year
Area’s best paddlers meet for ten consecutive weeks at different locations for an informal race/workout.
$5/ person/event or $40. for entire series with proceeds going toward annual donation of kayak or canoe to area Girl/Boy Scouts for last 28 years.
Learn race tactics, improve your Technic, and have fun while discovering new places to paddle.

This two day clinic will introduce beginning paddlers to the basics of boat handling, river reading, and techniques for driving a boat through moving water.
The clinic starts early Saturday morning at Waterbury reservoir, and moves to river(s) in the local area suitable to level I instruction for the afternoon and all day Sunday.
The clinics will be led by American Canoe Association certified instructors and other experienced paddlers. See the link for more info and registration.
Franklin County’s favorite triathlon is a family-friendly competition open to all athletes and all ages.
Athletes should be trained and prepared for the challenges of this race!

The Lake Dunmore Triathlon is a .9 mile swim, 28 mile bike, and 6.2 mile run.
Vermont Sun Fitness Center has held these award winning Triathlons on Lake Dunmore for 34 years.
The beautiful rural setting and safety of the central vermont courses are spectacular.
