|The theme of the event is “A healthy high for a healthy Ti.” Many of you know all too well the growing concern and urgency around doing something about the substance abuse and opioid overdoses that are prevalent in our communities in the north country. By choosing to be a participant in this remarkable first annual event, you will be taking action to join a community effort to connect participants with substance abuse prevention, treatment and recovery resources and celebrate healthy habits.|

|1 Day. 5 Mountains. 26 Miles. Join us Saturday, October 13th for the second Westmore Mountain Challenge – a mountain marathon hike that traverses the beautiful fall scenery of the Northeast Kingdom. Called “The most spectacular (and challenging) trail run in Vermont.” by VTSports.com. A great way to challenge yourself and support NorthWoods’ environmental conservation and education programming in northern Vermont.|
This annual event is a challenging half and full marathon distance trail run in the heart of the Green Mountains at beautiful Trapp Family Lodge. Fall is the best time to visit Vermont and we think that running through crisp, colorful, fall foliage on the Trapp Lodge trail system is just the way to do it. October is a particularly special time to be in Stowe, winter is just around the corner and Oktoberfest is in full swing in and around town.
A RaceVermont.com classic complete with views, history, friendly competition and familiar faces. The 5K run begins and ends at the Shelburne Farms Coach Barn. Run past Lake Champlain, through the quaint farm grounds and on to the trails and fields before making your way past the Inn at Shelburne Farms, on your way to the finish line back at the Coach Barn.
