|Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk Sponsored by Barre Congregational Church
All profits will be used for Mission and Outreach Efforts
In good weather conditions, the race begins on Bolster Road next to Barre Town Municipal Office; after about 100 yards, racers head out on Websterville Road before arriving at the Rock of Ages Visitor Center and take a left on the town of Barre’s bike path. Finally, the course spills out onto the Barre Town Elementary and Middle School.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to run in the Jingle Jog 5K! The timing couldn’t be more perfect to burn off your Thanksgiving calories and bring holiday cheer to everyone within hearing distance. First 100 registrants will be provided with jingle bells and a Santa hat (a better one this year). You can’t help but get in the holiday spirit by participating in this race. Register by November 11 to receive a free race shirt.
|Komen Snowshoe – Vermont is a beautiful 3K snowshoe run or 3K or 5K walk held on the Nordic Trails at the Sun Bowl at Stratton Mountain Resort. There’s also a Lil’ Rompers Dash. Enjoy the crisp winter air while making an impact in the fight against breast cancer. Although fundraising is not required, it is strongly encouraged! Funds raised will support local organizations who are providing breast health services in Vermont and New Hampshire! We look forward to seeing you January 6, 2019!|
5k Run/Walk at 9:30 am
Kids races at 8:30am (2-12 year olds)

Apple pies for top finishers and age group winners! Walkers start at the same time and follow the same route. The Walk is not timed event. Mimmo’s pizzas are raffled for the walkers.
Kid’s Races are varied according to age. Each child will receive a glow in the dark medal.

|1, 2, 4, 6.2, and 13.1 mile run A competitive and recreational half marathon (with shorter options) on back roads deep in the heart of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Don’t let the name fool you. The “Dandy” is a hilly, thigh-burning challenge. Your reward: a run that takes you through farms and forests, on dirt roads through uncut green fields blanketed with millions and millions of dandelions. It’s May! It’s Time to Run! Just for the Fun of It.|
