Beautiful, scenic routes with views of the Green Mountains and Adirondacks. 50/50 mix of paved and dirt roads for the half marathon, all paved for 3-mile fun run. Well organized, great t-shirts, live music on course from Middlebury College student bands, post-race pancake breakfast with Vermont maple syrup. New for 2019—prize money and age group awards for the fun run. One of New England’s “must do” races.|
Join us on Saturday, November 23, 2019 and run the beautiful rolling dirt roads of Westford, Vermont – snow, rain or shine!
Day-off registration starts at 8:30am and the tot trot starts at 10am (with the 3k walk/run and the 10k run starting after all tots have trotted). Race starts and ends at the Westford School on Brookside Road. T-shirts, mugs and hoodies are available for sale the day of the race. Homemade chili and other food available for sale before and after the race. So come run, eat

Bring your friends, family and a funny costume and jump start your Thanksgiving with a run through the resort, starting at 9am.Starting at the Clocktower, the course takes runners, walkers and turkey-trotters through the Village, over to the Sun Bowl, and around the resort before crossing the finish line back at the Clocktower.

|Certified 5K on the UVM women’s cross-country course. Great footing (not counting snow or ice) on cinder/paved path and grass. Some single track. No pets, headphones, strollers or bicycles allowed on the course. Walkers welcome. Walkers and slower runners please line up towards the back for safety at the crowded start.|
The Zack’s Place Turkey Trot, a 5K run and walk held on Thanksgiving Day, was first established in 2007, and has become a dependable annual fundraiser ever since. In 2007, almost 200 people participated. In 2017, over 1,700 people participated and raised $78,000. All of the proceeds of the race are dedicated to our operational costs.
As participants line up and register for the race they are entertained by a band on a flatbed truck. Hot coffee, tea and hot chocolate are offered.
|Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh what fun it is to run in the Jingle Jog 5K! We had a blast with this race last year. The timing couldn’t be more perfect to burn off your Thanksgiving calories, bring the family together and spread holiday cheer to everyone within hearing distance. First 100 registrants will be provided with jingle bells and a Santa hat. Several families are making this race a holiday tradition. We hope to see you and your family this year.|
|Win an apple pie! 5K race is run on paved loop. First mile fast. Second mile a gradual uphill and finishes fast. Apple pies for age group winners! Walkers start at same time/ same route. The Kid’s Races varied according to age and start at 8:30am at the track with the 5k race/walk starting at 9:30am.|
