Chaco Recognized for Building an Interactive Community

Internet Retailer Magazine recently announced their list of Hot 100 E-Retailers of 2012, including in their competitive apparel and accessory category. The Hot List recognized for creating a highly interactive platform called the Chaco-sphere that connects Chaconians (fans of Chaco) and their love of the brand by featuring unique user-generated content, real-time social media posts, and product reviews. The site provides an opportunity for Chaconians to envision the adventure to be had by pulling user and brand generated content into individual product pages while shopping for footwear and accessories.  Progressive level badges, “hero” image opportunities, product reviews, and adventure stories encourage follower participation in, and ownership of, the Chaco community.
