15th Annual Great Rivers Century

Our 15th edition of this great early Century is on a beautiful, lightly traveled east central Vermont course. This is a fund raiser for a local teen shelter. We have 4 aid stations with food provided before & after the ride as well. There are also 25 50, & 75 mile choices within the 100 course. We will again be doing a commemorative cycling jersey. Registration is $25 before 6/14.

The entire weekend is filled with events and activities to celebrate our wonderful heritage and history including the Ski Sweater Soirée, Birthday Party, live entertainment and a torchlight and snowcat parade.

Silver Fox Trot - Bill Koch Youth Ski League

The Silver Fox Trot for BKL skiers is held in conjunction with Hanover's Eastern Cup/JOQ - the Silver Fox Trot. The BKL race will be held on Garipay Field, adjacent to the Eastern Cup course on Oak Hill. J6 to J3 skiers are invited to race on Garipay's smooth-skating courses, which all offer great spectating.

A prize raffle by bib number will be held following awards.

Eastman Turkey Trot

11am at The Center. Enjoy a 5 mile run or a 2 mile walk along the cart paths of the Eastman Golf Links. Net proceeds of this annual event will benefit needy families in the surrounding communities. Registration will begin at 9:30 at The Center, race will begin at 11 am. Fees for the event are $12 for pre-registered participants and $14 on race day.

Annual Mountain Top Inn/Tippmann Paintball Youth Biathlon

The Mountain Top Inn & Resort, in partnership with the Mountain Top Nordic Ski Club and Tippmann , will host the fourth annual Youth Paintball Biathlon on Sunday, January 25, 2009, at the Resort’s Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Center. The event includes a High School division as well as the Bill Koch Youth Ski League division. For registration or general information call 802.483.2311.

Sledding films, free sled racing clinic, and information about putting together a team for the 2008/2009 sled racing season
Raffle of 2 Mad River Rocket kid sleds at 2pm and 4pm (tickets $1/piece or 6/$5)
Percentage of proceeds from all meals sold go to benefit Max Speed Sled Racing
