Eagles Nest Outfitters Adding Cold-Weather Equipment

From our friends at Eagles Nest Outfitters:

Two new products are being added to Eagles Nest Outfitter’s summer 2013 line of products: the  Housefly and Vulcan Underquilt. Both items are inspired by ENO’s desire for four-season hammocking.

The HouseFly, part rain tarp, part water-proof fortress, features silicone impregnated nylon – a lightweight, strong and highly waterproof material to increase longevity. To bolster the shelter further, overlapping, stowable doors complete with agile buckles on either end of the tarp allow for two door conversions: pinned open (similar to the ENO ProFly) or secured shut.

Boasting the most coverage of all the ENO tarps, the HouseFly is the company’s first Tarp to feature such a dexterous opening system making it able to withstand hard, sideways driving wind, rain and snow – something the majority of tarps cannot compete with.

The Vulcan Underquilt also handles extreme conditions with ease thanks to its PrimaLoft® Synergy Continuous Filament Insulation core, a material known for superior warmth, softness and loft.

Complementary to the Blaze Underquilt, a differentially cut construction adapts to the natural contours of the body, keeping drafts and moisture out, and comfort levels up. The full length quilt, complete with adjustable shock cord suspension, is thermally efficient, protecting you from your toes to your chin while its DWR finish creates a moisture resistant barrier that works well even when wet.

Packing down to a travel-friendly size in its included Nylon Stuff Sack, the Vulcan also boasts incredible compressibility for expeditions when minimum packing is a must. ENO’s warmest synthetic Underquilt, it provides comfortable warmth in temperatures down to 30⁰F.
