, 100-mile bike ride through beautiful Lake Champlain Valley. Fundraiser for spinal cord injury research, ski racing safety and adaptive sports equipment. Teams of century riders compete to raise the most money. Teams of two, three and four may divide up the ride. Post-event BBQ and raffle. $150 entry fee may be raised by pledges. Pre-registration is required.

Citizens 5 km Cross-Country Run at Catamount

This is one of the most beautiful cross country courses in New England, with views of Mt. Mansfield and Camel's Hump. It is a challenging course with rolling hills through mowed meadows and two short wooded sections (no pavement on the course).

For 2008, the Causeway Bike Ferry runs 10am to 6pm each weekend day in August and Labor Day (September 1). A $5 minimum donation is requested to defray the cost of operation.

Join us for a Friday evening run and ice cream social! Bring the whole family ~ we'll have a kids' run too! 1/4 mile kids' run starts at 6:30pm, followed immediately by the flat & fast 5K. Free childcare will be provided. Ice cream sundaes are included for all runners. Non-running family members may participate in the ice cream social for a $3 donation.
