Teams will race non-stop for 3 days through the mountains, rivers, and forests of Untamed New England. They must travel under their own power. Teams will navigate with map and compass through pine forests, wetlands, and mountains; paddle rivers fed by melting snow; bike staggering mountain passes and twisty trails; dangle from ropes on exposed cliff faces.
We’ve made the long trip around the sun once again. Before long, Old Man Winter will blanket Vermont in white, and many of us will be out there making the most of it on our skis, boards, snowshoes, bikes, and sleds. 5K run and 10K mountain through the well maintained single track of Pine Hill Park.
Individuals $20 early registration and $25 race day. Teams: $30 early registration and $35 race day.
Participants will tackle a 5k run, followed by a 20 mile bike ride, ending with another 5k run. Participants can be individual, two person teams or three person teams. New additions to the event for 2008 include a three-person corporate team category.
